 During Mika's stay at the composer's household, she has taken a liking to using the server computer to make stuff, she is henceforth a Server Technician. So if shit goes down you can notify her too. Good foxxo.

Reboot server computer + State of the union

 The server computer reset itself for some reason, I took longer to get to it (as composer) due to struggling with a headcold I will hence refer to in lore as a monster called the "Noggin Gremlin" (It's fun to give a face to bodily annoyances). The demiurge of major channel 15 now sleeps in the meatspace altar as well as the composer, and is a great help. They're not a NAL Head, but they are close to NAL Heads. Things are progressing at a steady pace again. Except now they are aided externally. Anyways wish us luck, everything should be back online.

New Minor Updates to the VY's Digital Infrastructure

 The Neocities is updated with new marquee status text, and repaired music on the terminal. We are also officially supporting neocities as I do find to be supporting indie web providers to be a noble endeavor.

We also have a carrd.co page as a sort of list for VY demiurges that do anything tabletop related to host links for any VTTs (Virtual Tabletops) they might use, if you fall into that category do let the composer know the deets of your inclusion. There is also a hidden link for it on the Neocities terminal you can get by typing in "VTTList" (Case sensitive).

Long Belated Revoking of Wiki Authority

 So i'm starting to work on the wiki more, so I have completely revoked wiki authority for those who have ditched us or aren't as active as usual in an effort to clean up. (With a few exceptions for people I know I can trust). Actual wiki "subscriptions" (You ain't paying shit) are fine, and will soon get more access as I venture down this path. If you want wiki access please remember to ask the composer (Me) or a close associate to give you the code. It is on world anvil. Here you go. Alternatively if you would like to help keep tabs on the VY, we have more spots now to put you on team wiki if you're a demiurge, CE, or NAL Head and interested. 

A long belated update from the composer

The composer after a long period of rest, is deciding to do the unthinkable and do a complete days work in it's productivity rift. No saying how it will go because summertime is still the Composer's Achilles's Heel, but wish me (the composer) luck. For if I am successful new lore will emerge.

The Poison Protocol

An unexpected setback on the road to phase #2 has occurred, but we are nigh overcoming it, and we are more confident with it being overpowered.

Said setback is associated with the feverish haze of the composer during the blasing infernos of VA.

Been a long time ain't it friends.

 The great haze steps in, unflinching, unmoving, predicted in many cultures, we all know something is wrong with the world, where do we stand in all this..........

Well, the composer has been in a bit of a drunken depressive slump for about a couple weeks, everything just got to it I guess (The composer is me, Hiya~), but it's back now. I'm writing this as I have successfully rebooted the servers after a power outage (Electric near the composer's house sucks ass). 

    The VY is still going smoothly, I honestly think it's beyond us at this point, all that devotion has done wonders for what my soul was programmed to do, and the project will never be abandoned for I am it's puppet. A lot of the plan is the same, just with lowered expectations of myself to match my energy levels.

    In other news, the CE member who rules over major channel #15, and the Oracle (He barely speaks) are living with the Composer now. Veterans to the Project will probably be going like, "Oh gods another roommate situation", but I assure you these people don't have rabies B). 

The VY goes teamspeak(?)

So with discord (Bad-irc) deciding to cave to bullshit that dicks over the consumer class, and violates our privacy. This once again sparks discussion that Bad-irc as important as it was to building us up, is still Bad. We still have Noxxy's IRC server as the ideal retro IRC, pure as can be, but what if we don't want pure? What if we want modernity without giving up our privacy. Upon seeing a SOG video, I (The Composer) came up with two ideas, one was creating a teamspeak server, which I checked out modern teamspeak and it looks incredibly swag so far, can even self host it, the other is making or asking to be made major channel #7 miniwatrix (miniwa.space) matrix recreation. I think they both can be part of the 8 IRC like services. (Eightfold IRC). But for now this is just early planning.

Server Status #4 of 2026

 We went offline due to a power outage, we are back online now, no data loss as of writing this. The composer is quite slow atm, certain factors have been making them feel hazy, and their desire to make it worse with DXM isn't helping them be sane, but imperfect as they and most people are, they are loyal to the VY community. The mirror reality shall be fulfilled no matter what happens.

The end of Jizin'/Erbaflerb reboot. & Other Shit I pinged VYCord about

 All server computer software has been rebooted for the new solar cycle. Unrelated to the VY but keep a lookout for This (Android Being Fucked) and This (VY's Homestate Putting Bullshit Laws on Social Media) we hope this can be safely combated because we don't want our remaining stay here to be more hell than it already is.

Custom VY Discordian Holyday(s) ~ Jizin' Starts Today

Jizin' was a VY discordian holyday dedicated to combining every single december holyday you can get off work for to one single holyday period where you should commit as much spiritual sloth as possible. Only do what you have to do, chill in your pjs, slack off like the most potent of Subgenii. Let go of almost all expectations you have of yourself. Play games, watch movies, or just do nothing. Chill. The reason for it is that in this reality you are all going to be overworked if you partake in the system, let go for a while. Anyways I don't feel like writing the rest of this announcement, have a nice time, I will be posting in VYCord and stuff if you all need me. 

Back Online 11/12/2025

 The server computer forced rebooted itself for some reason (Microsoft is full of dipshits)

But we are back online on all 3 current apps we self host on the Cyberspace Altar (Discord Bot, BBS, and Copyparty)

Overall it might be more than the Cyberspace Shit online, because I (The Composer) seem to finally be working my way out of my usually tired demeanor. Whether I'm just seeking to be productive, or the world as we know it will end soon, is up to interpretation. 

Will I do everything I need to before January 1st?: Eh, don't count on it. But do know this will never be abandoned, no matter how "Dead" it seems. After all I am pretty undead if you ask me.

Been a hot minute, eh?

 The discordian season of confusion is nigh upon us, and with it all the hot temperatures that those who feel unwelcome in the suns rays tend to dread. I as composer have a simple goal, to see if I can keep the BBS and discord bot online, and quickly reboot it if it goes offline. If I do something that simple everything will follow. Operation Torchlight will begin on Monday, May 19th. Gregorian, or Prickle-Prickle, Discord 66, 3191 YOLD Discordian. As always I will never abandon the projects, as I am literally soul bound to them. 

Also once again time is gutting Discordian history off of the internet, another symptom of the quickly wilting nature of this reality, but thanks to this fine fellow we can have an online ddate client.

Either way, may the weirdo prevail.

New life has been breathed into the Meatspace Altar

 A spark occurred over me (the composer) yesterday, in the short amount of days leading up to it, I was hopeless, felt like I was worthless, had imposter syndrome, thought I wasn't good enough for this project. But on the 28th after the full moon, a shift did happen, although it wasn't phase #2 just yet. It was certainly effective enough to get me a massive headstart on cleaning up my room, especially the parts of it that serve to be the tabletop heart of the VY. I will not announce it as repaired though, until it is completely done, but what it is, is functional, and that's especially what matters.

It doesn't matter what you feel in the moment, because you yourself will call your self criticism horseshit in the end.... :)

Just like I overcame this out of nowhere, so will everyone else who decides to persevere. 

The new moon has come at the end of February

The new moon has fallen with the alignment of the planets today, new beginnings will be afoot, regardless we just gotta see what's coming. The project is hard coded into me to continue no matter what, so never think I will abandon it. Though I say that a lot and it might be anxiety.

Either way, new moon cleanse the cycle.
